Pyrford Cricket Club has the ambition and resources to reach the top of league cricket in Surrey and to be a major force in the various National competitions available to cricket clubs in the UK.
We have an approach that is based on drawing the majority of players from a broad amateur club membership but supplementing their playing strength with up to three professional cricketers in the 1st XI and ECB qualified coaches available to all senior and junior sides. This leads to a well-balanced club that has the happy spirit of willing volunteers and the cutting edge of professional sportsman.

Senior Section - As a club we have enjoyed an unbelievable run of success over the past 6 years with nearly every year bringing at least one, and sometimes two, promotions for the First, Second or Third XI's. Again this year, all three senior league teams will be competing in the Surrey Championship, Surrey's highest amateur league. We will also be competing in a number of midweek cup games centred on the Flora Doris Cup and Championship 20:20.
Colts Section - The success we have enjoyed in the senior side of our cricket has brought additional benefits to our thriving Colts section. Approximately 100 colts of ages 7-16 groups are regularly attending our Thursday evening and Sunday morning coaching sessions and at all age groups we are active in competitive local leagues. This year we have age groups at U9, U11, U12, U14 & U15 and for more detail please contact the Colts Manager – Derek Cockle - pyrfordcolts@aim.com

This year is a special year for the Club as we celebrate our 150th Anniversary, and it is a wonderful opportunity to come and join or support the club. We have a number of special events to mark the occasion, together with the normal social events throughout the year. These are all detailed in the Club’s fixture card or can be seen on the Club's Calendar (in "Community" section of the website)
2008 has already got off to a great start following a successful application for a significant grant. This has enabled us to complete a major refurbishment programme of the pavilion, including new showers and toilets. This combined with further investment in the square and outfield, shows the Club’s continuing commitment to improving the facilities.
Success on the field has been only part of the story. The camaraderie and enjoyment of the growing club membership is exceptional and new members will be amazed how quickly they fit in and embrace the spirit of Pyrford Cricket Club.
Whether you are a proven player with experience at a high level, a bona fide novice who just wants to play the game or a parent with a son or daughter interesting in playing cricket for the first time, Pyrford CC will make you welcome. We have cricket available to all at a variety of standards. Although we can't guarantee you runs and wickets, we can guarantee you will have fun.
So if you are interested in joining Surrey’s most up and coming cricket club in any capacity please contact me, Geoff Atterbury, or Stephen Cowburn – stephencowburn@yahoo.co.uk
Whatever aspect of this great game you are interested in you will be made very welcome.
