Welcome 2011/12

Welcome to the website of Pyrford Cricket Club. Pyrford Cricket Club has been in existence for over 150 years, in recent years playing amongst the highest levels of amateur cricket in Surrey, with 1st and 2nd XIs competing in the higher divisions of Surrey's premier league.

The Club has an active and enthusuatic junior section, with over 140 youngsters developing their skills. The Club was awarded Clubmark status in 2010, and this has spurred the junior section to greater feats and now being a force to be reckoned with in junior cricket. 2011 saw the first appearance of a Pyrford junior ladies' side, and it is hoped that the side will move forward in 2012 and become a regular feature of club life. It is an exciting time to be involved with the Club, as we see the emergence of some very talented young players, who are able to compete at district and County level at their age group, and also the senior sides playing within the Surrey Championship.

The Club always welcomes new players, of whatever standard, as well as anyone interested in becoming involved with cricket from a non-playing angle. There is plenty of opportunity for people to help out with the junior section, as umpires or scorers, or in many differnet ways.
